About

Established in 2018, Hong Kong Polo Development is a grassroots movement dedicated to growing the sport of polo within the region's dynamic equestrian scene. Our mission extends beyond introducing new players to the game; we're committed to building a thriving social and professional network around this classic sport. The ultimate goal is clear: to establish a premier polo facility and polo club in Hong Kong, serving as a hub for both the sport and the unique community engagement it fosters. Through these endeavors, we aim to enhance the cultural fabric of our region and create unparalleled opportunities for social interaction and exclusive networking.

Play Polo

Hong Kong Polo Development orchestrates multiple tournaments from September to May, including our marquee event, the Hong Kong Beginners’ Cup. It's the perfect spot for our new players to show off what they've learned, and a fantastic time for members of all skill levels to come together, have some fun, and celebrate everything we love about Hong Kong Polo.Beyond our local events, we participate in inter-club matches throughout the year, accommodating various skill levels and spanning locations from JeJu to Kuala Lumpur, Manila, and Singapore, fostering competitive play and camaraderie within the broader regional polo community.

Learn Polo

Hong Kong Polo Development facilitates regular training excursions to renowned destinations including Thailand, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, and China, catering to both novice and seasoned players. We also offer assistance to beginners preferring independent travel, connecting them with reputable Polo Clubs across the region.
